GENERAL COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this course, students are expected to understand frequency distributions while being introduced to elements of probability; they are being exposed to discrete probability distributions during which they are expected to distinguish among binomial, Poisson, geometric and hyper-geometric probability distributions. Again, while familiarizing them to the major indices of continuous probability distributions, normal student’s t distribution, Chi Square and F combinational and moment generating functions, students are expected to make predictions and test hypothesis using these statistical tools.
